Information we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and a description of the problem (make/age of the door, for example). If you have an existing estimate or job, we also keep records tied to it — scheduling details, photos of the work, pricing, and payment status.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to:

• Call or text you back about your request and schedule your visit
• Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and technician-on-the-way updates
• Perform the repair or installation you requested
• Send your estimate, invoice, and payment link, and process payment
• Keep a service history for warranty claims and repeat visits

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the “text me updates” box on our request form, we may use your phone number to send appointment confirmations, reminders, technician-on-the-way alerts, and updates about your estimate, job, or invoice (for example, a link to view or pay it). Message frequency varies with your service — typically a handful of messages around a single visit, not recurring marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out: reply STOP to any text at any time to stop receiving messages from us, or reply HELP for assistance. You can also ask us directly using the contact details below. Consent to receive text messages is never required to purchase our services — you can always ask us to call or email you instead.

No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in status — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. The one exception is Twilio, our text messaging platform, which we use solely to deliver the messages described above to you; Twilio does not use your information for its own marketing.

We don't sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes — ever. Your details are used only to respond to your request, schedule your visit, and send you your quote or invoice.

The only exceptions are the service providers we rely on to run the business, each of which only sees what it needs to perform its one task and isn't permitted to use it for anything else:

• Twilio — delivers the text messages described above
• Square — processes card payments through its own secure checkout; we never see or store your full card number
• Resend — delivers transactional emails such as your quote, receipt, or pay link
• Supabase — hosts our database and website
• Google — powers address autocomplete on our forms

Cookies & analytics

We use a lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Vercel Speed Insights) to see how the site is performing — it doesn't use advertising cookies or track you across other sites. If you sign in as staff, a session cookie keeps you logged in to the admin area; this is not used for customers browsing the public site.

Where your information is stored, and security

Your information is stored on Supabase's servers, the database provider that powers this site, and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We do not keep a separate copy anywhere else, and access is restricted to the staff who need it to schedule and complete your visit.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as it's useful for warranty claims, repeat service, and our own business records. If you'd like your information removed, contact us and we'll take care of it.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP. Reach out using the contact details below and we'll respond promptly.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
